The cotton flannel liners are lightly brushed when being made making it very soft and velvety, this also increases the surface area making it capable of absorbing eveb more moisture This brushed cotton liner is folded into a strip and used as an absorbent liner for the knitted nappies and nappy pants. When the cloth is made, the cotton is lightly brushed, which not only makes it leasantly soft and velvety, but also multiplies its relative surface, meaning it can absorb even more moisture.
